Blessed Be's Bachelorette Party

As you all know Cassandra Knight, a.k.a. Blessed Be is getting married!

We can’t let that happen without a last hurrah for the bride. We’d like to invite you to help celebrate her final days of single life. We will begin festivities at Paragon Dance Party, Saturday at 8 p.m.

Come prepared to party!
Coming back from grocery shopping in Talos Island, Noelle picked up her mail and tossed it on her coffee table next to a beautiful vase of blue roses as she put her perishables away. When she was done, with a little time to kill before she needed to head out and check on something for Janet Kellum in Founder's Falls, she sat on her couch and flipped through the mail.

She had a smile on her face as she smelled the sweet perfume of the flowers, which expanded into a grin as she opened the invitation to Cassie's bachelorette party.

"Whoohoo! Par-tay!" Noelle did a little chair dancing at the thought, which almost immediately turned to a consideration of her wardrobe. Should she pick up something new? Carson had been trying to sell her on his new line of motorcycle jackets for weeks now, but she'd resisted buying one as the days got hotter, and her clothes got skimpier. Still, for a party outfit...

She checked the time display on her PDA. Yeah, there was enough time to run over to Icon before she needed to head to King's Row. Besides, she could maybe pick up a little something for Cassie while she was there. A very little something -- wasn't that an appropriate bachelorette gift? She was sure Carson could suggest something.

As Noelle made sure she had her credit card, she had a fleeting thought, and wondered if the bachelorette and bachelor parties were maybe going to start off together and end up elseway, or the reverse, or neither. Either way, she was looking forward to celebrate Cassie and Sean's upcoming wedding with her friends.

And maybe she could convince Erin to wear that amazing red dress...
Having never done anything like this Cassie was uncertain of what was appropriate to wear. This was supposed to be her last hurrah as a single woman. So what would any woman wear when she was trying to be sexy... Noelle broke into her thoughts as she whisked her away to the dressing room, arms loaded with hangers.

She turned to Noelle, "Are y'all sure this has to be worn without a bra?" She held up the little thing that was advertised as a dress on the rack at the store.

Noelle grinned and nodded, "It would totally ruin the lines of the dress."

With a flick the clasp was undone and the bra deposited into her bag. "Thanks for letting me get ready over here. Ah needed a girl's opinion." She shimmied the dress over her body and blinked in the mirror. It was tight... and low cut, and the hemline... wow, "How am Ah supposed to walk in this thing? Are y'all sure about this?" She did a turn and had to admit, it felt deliciously decadent to be wearing something so blatantly sexy.

When she arrived at the club she wanted to take that thought back. She felt foolish and naked, but the only way to wear a dress like this is to just suck it up and wear it. So she and Noelle strode into the main room of the club.
Noelle had to grin watching Cassie get ready. It almost seemed like the whole thing was foreign to her. And yet... she looked great. Amazing. Next to the bride-to-be, Noelle felt positively dowdy in her light pink halter dress, the hem fluttering around her thighs. Pink sandals with leather flowers between her toes completed her outfit.

As they walked into the Paragon Dance Party, Noelle could feel the beat of the music in her chest, and hoped they'd been able to set aside a quieter corner for the bachelorette party to hang out. Not that she wasn't looking forward to doing some dancing...

"Hiya!" She called out to the girls already at the party, and gave - she hoped - a surreptious glance around for Keen's party guests.
Cassie’s gaze followed Noelle's to the men. Sean was there all ready with a drink in his hand. He looked so good; it took all her effort not to go run to him.

Sean was looking around at the festivities all ready starting when he saw this woman, with shiny black hair and a tight, hot as hell number on. "Guys, you shouldn't have, Cassie will kill... Cassie?" She was a walking advertisement for sex.

Cassie smiled, happy to see him. "Sean, Hi baby!"

"What in the world is that you're wearing?" He wished he was prone to wearing jackets because he would have put it on her.

She glanced down at the excuse for a dress, "It's a dress."

"No, that's underwear, a dress would cover that." He looked like he was going to have a stroke.

"Sean... it's decent. Nothing... showing, and Ah... look nice in it." She shot a rather desperate look at Noelle.
Noelle instantly took Cassie's side. "Sean! Come on, please! Like you know so much about fashion."

She wrapped her arm around Cassie's and continued to Sean, still glaring fiercely. "I'll have you know this is the very height of fashion. And besides, Cassie looks amazing, and you know it. You're just jealous you have to share her with all of us tonight."

Noelle realized how that last statement of hers could be interpreted, and blushed. "I mean, that is... Hey, Kid!" She saw Elvis coming towards the party-goers, and quickly excused herself, throwing herself in Kid's arms, and leaving Cassie and Sean alone-ish.

The bachelorette party must have been very enjoyable. I’ll also be attending my friend’s bachelorette party this weekend and it’s definitely going to be an entertaining night. I’m also looking forward to attend her wedding which will be in a few weeks at one of the best San Francisco wedding venues.
