From the Private, Personal Diary of Noelle Frost

Dear Diary -

So I did that thing I was talking about.

Not the testing thing (I must remember to talk to Dark Neutron or Malcalypse next time I see them!) but the other thing. At Stateswoman's -- at Anna's -- Christmas Eve party. And it was really really nice.

Really. Yum.

Streak and I got to hang out a bit over the holidays, and the other night, after a vicious fight with some Crey baddies, and a little exploration of Striga Island with the Knights, we went out for what I think was our first real, official date.

I think we'd been talking about it so much, that we finally said "let's just do this now" and rather than plan for another time, we hit the dance club in Talos. And wow -- what a great time. We talked, and laughed, and danced, and played some pool -- and beat up a few Council members that thought they could bring their war with the 5th Column into the club.

It's easy, you know? Comfortable. And safe. Like, in the middle of a fight, I know he's got my back -- even if sometimes it's just to watch it. (I got this great new outfit, and a kick-ass pair of boots that I've been wearing absolutely everywhere. Which may have something to do with it.)

But it's also exciting. And exhilarating. And unknown. We're learning all sorts of stuff about each other. It's pretty thrilling. I think I've been going around for the last few days, weeks, whatever, with a glow about me, that I just can't explain away.

Actually, I'm not sure I want to.

Laters,
N.
