From the Private, Personal Diary of Noelle Frost

Dear Diary -

Man! It's like a Winter Wonderland out there! I just got in -- had to tear myself away from being out and about. I've been outside for hours and hours today -- all this weekend in fact. It's cold, brilliantly cold, and though most of the other people in town are shivering, bundled up in layers and layers so they look like that guy from the tire commercial, I've been wandering around the streets in my regular clothes feeling completely comfortable.

It feels like home.

Minus the snow, of course. I wish there were snow.

There's patches of ice, of course (more when I'm in the mood ) and snowballs! Don't ask me how there can be snowballs without snow. I don't know, and I don't care. There's also big giant snow monsters haunting the streets -- we've seen 'em in Dark Astoria, where they blended so well into the fog I didn't see 'em til I was on top of them, in Crey Folly's, and even in King's Row! Streak and Riot Force and I helped take one down in King's Row, and then stood around the piles of snow left from his remains (ok, gruesome much?) and had a snowball fight. Jack even got into it -- although mostly as a target, not so much as a hurler.

So much fun...

It made up for the ass-whuppin' Riot and I took earlier in the day from some Council guys who were harassing these Crey scientists. Streak saved the day for us there, coming by at the very last minute and helping us rescue the last two hostages. My hero.

Tee. I can feel myself grinning.

How do I know if we should move this along? I mean, we talk, and fight alongside each other. What's the next step, and am I ready to take it? Is he?

Points to ponder...
