From the Private, Personal Diary of Noelle Frost
I went to the Carnival! And while, anywhere other than Paragon City, that would be a simple, pretty heartful statement of joy and excitement, here it means I helped fight loads and loads of acrobats, illustionists, strongmen, clowns, and more.
But honestly -- I did have a great time. I know, weird, right? But I went in with a really good team, and we had fun, ok? I mean, those Carnies are weird folks, and I wouldn't want to be one of the hypnotized audience members they kidnapped. One of them was so out of it, when we rescued him, he asked if I was his mother! I mean, as if! But we got such a hoot out of it, and there was so much stupid, silly chatter going on that it was a breeze, really. Ok, mostly. Ok, fine, except for one part.
So, I don't know. I think I may have to see about checking the carnival out again. Those freaks (as distinguished from the Freakshow, of course) are up to something sneaky, but, well... they have awesome outfits. And I think I might, with a little bit o' my feminine fellow shopper wiles, get them to tell me where they got their corsets and fancy stockings. Fingers crossed.
Ciao!
