From the Private, Personal Diary of Noelle Frost

Dear Diary -

They did it! Jason and Sabrina got married!

Oh, it was so beautiful. They were both so nervous, but Sabrina was glowing, and she asked me, Nora, and Erin to be her bridesmaids, so I got to stand up with them as they said their vows and bound themselves to each other forever. It was so... I don't have words, diary.

I know it's something I want for myself someday. I want that person that is the whole world to me, as Jason and Sabrina have proven they are to each other. I mean, I didn't even go into how we got her back and all that, but it was like -- I knew Jason would do ANYTHING to get her, would throw himself in the midst of the fiercest battle if it would save her. That kind of love -- is scary, and god, I want it so much.

Kid wasn't able to make it to the wedding, but it was fine -- I felt like my job there was to help keep Sabrina from bursting into tears every five minutes, so Nora, Erin, and Puck and I spent most of the reception -- and half of the ceremony, now that I think of it -- cracking jokes and trying to make her laugh. I think it worked.

Afterwards, after Jason resigned from being a Prefect, and he and Sab went off on their honeymoon, Nora and I led a group of other guests -- Ted, Ulric, Star Breaker, Psi-Clone, Rayne, and Slayers Trace -- against Dominatrix, and it was as if we were a finely tuned machine. We just rolled over all opposition in a hail of ice and flying fists and energy. It was actually something magic to see. To see everyone working as a team... this is what the Alliance is about. Friends brought together for happy occasions, heroes gathered to fight evil.

It would have been a perfect evening if I hadn't rushed into the fray at one point to back up Ted and got a little overzealous. Rayne helped me back up, but Psi-Clone seemed so mad at me. Weird.

And then there was Avocet. Poor Avocet. I want to help him, to be there for him, but it's just... he keeps getting me at bad times, and I can't just ignore him, so in between all the fighting and the mad quips going around about Dominatrix's *ahem* preferences, I was talking to him, trying to help him in what seems a feud he has with Star Breaker, with Derek.

Who I'd pledged my friendship to not an hour previously, and who Avo was determined to malign.

I don't doubt that Star said something to him -- something about a girl, if I'm not mistaken. But I think Avo also has a habit of taking things -- not too seriously, but as absolutes, when so very much we deal with isn't.

I'm working with both of them later today, so hopefully they can work this out, with a little help from their friends. As for me, I'm off to meet Kid for brunch.

Cheers,
N.
