From the Private, Personal Diary of Noelle Frost

Dear Diary -

No apologies. I mean, no one's reading this but me, and I know how busy I've been, so I don't see as how I should need to apologize for not updating recently.

It's been for a really good reason though. Really.

I don't even know how -- exactly -- to put it into words. I don't know if I need words. They're kinda extra, ya know? Like, there's no way I could ever forget what's gone on in the last week or so. Hell, I even have new furniture to remind me, if I should ever forget.

I won't though. Each memory, each thought -- well, it gives me a warm fuzzy... and I just realized how that could sound, and I swear that's not exactly what I meant.

So... no words. What else is going on then? Well, I got a swank new pair of shoes. Felt a little like Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, but it's not like I really stole 'em off a dead witch. She wasn't dead. And she wasn't a witch, just a Crey Special Agent. And I didn't steal 'em. Just, you know, happened to ask her where she got 'em after I arrested her and before I sent her off to the Zig. And then I bought my own pair -- rushed right from the crime scene to the shoe store.

Hey, I have my priorities in order. I sent her to prison first, didn't I? And called my contact? So I was free and clear.

Heh.

Otherwise though, all is pretty much status quo. There may be something big going down this weekend, and I volunteered to help if they need me, so I'm hoping to clear out a few other tasks before heading into it. I'm a little nervous -- it's pretty big -- but I think Lightning'll be in charge, and she seems to have the mission plan in really good order. I'm so glad she's back on the path to health. I never belived those stupid reports about her -- not after she'd helped me. And then that some stupid ass-face of a reporter would turn around and say bad stuff about the Baron!!!... grr.

Not gonna get angry again. Not after I talked Streak down after he read the darned editorial. Though that wasn't all bad. Anyway, the Baron's friends and loved ones and fans and Knights -- and that comprises a huge portion of the people who know about him -- know he's a good hero.

And if anyone says differently in my presence, I'll deck 'em.
